Monitoring of Teachers' and Educational Administrators' Readiness and Needs Regarding the Use of Digital Tools and ICT: Survey Data, 2024

This dataset contains anonymized survey data collected in 2024 as part of the monitoring study “Readiness and Needs of Teachers Regarding the Use of Digital Tools and ICT”. The study examines teachers’ readiness, experience, practices, needs and professional development related to the use of digital technologies and information and communication technologies (ICT) in education. The questionnaire covers teachers’ professional and demographic characteristics, use of digital tools and online resources, digital competence, educational practices, challenges and barriers related to the use of ICT, and needs for further professional development. The dataset includes 26,227 individual survey responses from teachers, as well as supplementary data collected from administrators of general secondary education institutions. The repository also contains the original 2024 questionnaire and documentation describing the structure and variables of the dataset. The dataset is intended for academic research, secondary data analysis, educational research, methodological work, and replication or comparative studies concerning teachers’ digital competence and the use of digital technologies in education. The public-use data have been de-identified and prepared for research data repository deposit. Users should refer to the accompanying questionnaire and codebook when interpreting and analysing the dataset.
