Stationing — reporting waters

Indication of the ‘river-kilometre’ of each flowing water in the reporting water network. It should be noted that the stationing is carried out from the estuary to the source, i.e. contrary to the flow direction along the axis of the water graph. In case of changes in geometry, e.g.: a more accurate representation of the windings of a water can change the actual length of the axis. However, the stationing remains the same so that water body boundaries, installations, assessments etc., which are located via the indication of the river kilometre, cannot be changed in their position. The actual length between the stations (river-kilometres) may differ from the stationing length; for example, the water axis between river km 4 and 5 can have an actual length of 1.1 km.
