Site Images and GIS Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at Crockwell Hill Solar, Watford Gap, Northamptonshire, October 2023

This collection consists of site images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation at Crockwell Hill Solar, Watford Gap, Northamptonshire. The works were conducted by Cotswold Archaeology in October 2023. Trenches were located to test anomalies identified during a preceding geophysical survey and to provide a representative sample of the remainder of the site. Results of the evaluation partially confirmed those of the geophysical survey. Results from the evaluation suggest a late prehistoric and later Romano-British presence in the area.
