Appendix of The Fabric of Zoodemocracy

This Appendix provides data in the form of videos, photographs, and a digitalised transcription of notebook notes and drawings, substantiating the empirical claims made in the article. The structure of the appendix mirrors the article’s structure, i.e., section 3.1 of the appendix compiles data that backs the empirical claims made in section 3.1 of the article, and the same applies to sections 3.2 and 3.3. Each section contains subheadings capturing an empirical claim made in the article (e.g., ‘Cows and turkeys cleaning other residents’), below each subheading there are images, videos, notes, and/or drawings substantiating the claim at stake. Underneath images, videos, and diagrams, I provide a description of what appears in the data. In the descriptions, I have sometimes written ‘note’ in order to indicate that that part of the text is a direct transcription from the notebooks.
