Development of a sampling concept for substitute fuels

In the course of implementing the requirements of the Landfill Ordinance and due to the tense price situation on the energy market, the importance of the use of waste as a substitute fuel has risen sharply in recent years. Quality-assured substitute fuels can contribute to the substitution of primary fuels in processes of the basic materials industry (e.g. cement industry, ...) and in the field of energy conversion (e.g. in power plants and waste incineration plants) (cf. BECKMANN et al. 2003).
