Height, Measurement

This concept set contains codes pertaining to body height measurements. Unlike the PCORnet CDM, the PEDSnet CDM represents weight measurements using LOINC codes. The codes which should be used are specified in the PEDSnet ETL guidelines. A height measurement may be used to derive estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), a measure of kidney function. Note: In the PEDSnet CDM, height is in centimeters. In the PCORnet CDM, height is in inches. It is advisable to review distributions of height across age to identify measurements which are using the unexpected unit.
