Assimilating GRACE observations into a hydrological model in the Yangtze River Basin: the role of the Three Gorges Reservoir

This repository contains the key datasets generated and used in the study to support reproducibility. The archived data include: (1) a Yangtze River Basin mask defined on a global 0.5° grid; (2) the reconstructed Three Gorges Reservoir (TGR) water-storage dataset at 0.5° spatial resolution over the Yangtze River Basin for January 2003–December 2023; (3) the original and TGR-corrected GRACE-derived terrestrial water storage anomaly (TWSA) datasets for January 2003–December 2013; and (4) hydrological model outputs from the open-loop simulation (OL) and two GRACE data-assimilation experiments, including assimilation of the original GRACE-derived TWSA (DA) and assimilation of the TGR-corrected GRACE-derived TWSA (DAw/oTGR), for January 2003–December 2013. These datasets comprise the principal inputs and outputs required to reproduce the analyses and figures presented in the associated study.
