资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic and atmospheric carbon dioxide during the RRS Discovery D313 research cruise, as part of the joint UK-SOLAS DOGEE (The UK SOLAS Deep Ocean Gas Exchange Experiment) and SEASAW (Field Observations of Sea Spray, Gas Fluxes and Whitecaps) programme, in the North East Atlantic. The cruise took part in NE Atlantic, west of Scotland and Scottish Western Isles (55-57N, 05-13W) and began on 7th November 2006 and ended on 6th December 2006.
The measurements taken included:
-The flux of carbon dioxide taken from both the port side and starboard of the foremost platform by LICOR7500;
-Dissolved carbon dioxide concentration from the surface underway by gas-exchange equilibrium and LICOR6262 and by non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) absorption;
-Dissolved carbon dioxide saturation from the surface underway by non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) absorption; and,
-Carbon dioxide concentration from underway air intake on Monkey Island by LICOR6262.
