This dataset contains the raw experimental and computational data supporting the findings in the study on Nd(III)-based molecular thermometers operating in the near-infrared (NIR) region within the physiological temperature range (292–332 K). The study investigates three neodymium(III) complexes: a mononuclear precursor [Nd(L)(NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>3</sub>] (<b>1Nd</b>), a dinuclear complex [(Nd(L)(NO<sub>3</sub>))<sub>2</sub>(µ-BDC)](NO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>·H<sub>2</sub>O (<b>2Nd</b>), and a hexameric complex [(Nd(L))(µ-BTC)(H<sub>2</sub>O)]<sub>6</sub>·35H<sub>2</sub>O (<b>6Nd</b>), where L is a macrocyclic ligand, and BDC and BTC are 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate and 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate, respectively.
