This study considered anisotropic and asymmetric units, whose stiffness tensors were calculated using energy-based homogenization (1). For two-dimensional (2D) designs, six independent, C11, C12, C13, C22, C23, C33 (in Voigt notation) were used. We built here a small database with precomputed properties and different unit cell microstructures. Each unit cell was discretized into a 50 × 50 plane stress Q4 element.
