Annual basal area increments of Larix cajanderi across a stand density gradient, northeastern Siberia, 1951-2016

To assess the annual productivity and climate-growth responses of Larix cajanderi (larch) in northeastern Siberia, tree disks or cores were collected from 20 sites in either the summer of 2014, 2015, or 2016. These sites span a density gradient ranging from 0.03 stems/m 2 to 3.70 stems/m 2 . This data set consists of annual basal area increment measurements (mm 2 /year) from 1951 to 2014, 2015, or 2016 for 150 individual trees.
