Replication package for manuscript on Tuition Resets as Discounting Redesign (blind review)

This repository contains the full replication materials for the manuscript on Tuition Resets as Discounting Redesign, under blind review. The package includes Python scripts to extract institution-level data from manually downloaded IPEDS Access Database files, harmonize yearly releases, construct the institution-year analytic panel, identify tuition reset events, generate intermediate and final processed datasets, and reproduce all manuscript tables and figures. The archive also includes bundled intermediate extracts, processed data, and generated outputs corresponding to the final manuscript. Raw IPEDS Access Database files are not redistributed in this repository; instead, the documentation provides exact step-by-step instructions for downloading the required IPEDS releases from NCES and placing them in the expected directory structure before running the extraction and replication workflow.
