Processed data and scripts used for external validation of the DAPI-staining-based segmentation (DSBS) workflow on a published wheat inflorescence MERFISH dataset and a published rice root Molecular Cartography dataset. The package includes cropped images, reference and DSBS masks, annotation tables, transcript assignments, marker summaries, and reproducible Python scripts. The original datasets were reported by Long et al. (2026) and Zhu et al. (2025).
