<b>Version 1.0</b> of these data is available (https://figshare.com/articles/dataset/The_cost_of_oral_cancer_a_systematic_review/16663537/1?file=30853819). <br>The manuscript was submitted for publication in the journal PLOS ONE and, after the first peer review, the criteria for classifying the type of the included studies (cost-of-illness; cost analysis) and their perspective were reorganized. Furthermore, the variables sex and age of the included studies samples were added to the data. This is the <b>2.0 Version</b> of this structured data, after the reorganization described above (February, 2022).<br>
