Interest Organizations in Denmark, 1976

The purposes of the survey are: #1) a mapping of all Danish interest organizations, and #2) theoretical analyses of the Danish organizational system. #Primarily, the survey comprises national interest organizations, and it examines such aspects as: # a) characteristics of the organization/body itself, # b) levels of activity, # c) membership of other organizations, # d) contact with public authorities, # e) EC contacts, # f) other international contacts. #Most of the information about the interest organizations was collected by means of questionnaires completed either by 1) members (such as chairmen, vice-chairmen or rank-and-file members), or by 2) employees (high-ranking or other officials).
