Data Research for KPK Accountability by Supervisory Board

This research aims to evaluate the accountability status of The Republic of Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission, also known as KPK, following the 2019 law changes that established the KPK Supervisory Board, a body appointed by the President to ensure KPK's compliance with regulations and ethical standards. Utilizing qualitative methods, including content analysis, deep interviews, and the Analytical Network Process (ANP) via the Super Decision application, the study focuses on the impact of the Supervisory Board's oversight from its formation to three years later. Initial findings suggest significant contributions by the Board in enhancing KPK's accountability and addressing ethical violations among KPK staff and leaders, covering the period from 2020 to 2023. This investigation addresses a gap in the literature by comprehensively examining the factors affecting KPK's accountability and the Supervisory Board's effectiveness in augmenting it, a topic previously unexplored in such detail.
