The octaose derived from the succinoglycan Riclin was used as a novel elicitor to prime the defense response of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) leaves. Transcriptome sequencing was performed at 24 h and 72 h post foliar spray with Riclin octaose and sterilized water was used as the control.
