The -KTS splice variant of Wt1 is required for ovarian differentiation and sex determination

Here we identify -KTS, a major alternatively spliced isoform of the Wilms' tumor suppressor WT1, as a key determinant of female sex determination. Overall design: E12 (23±3ts) gonads from wild-type, -KTS KO and +KTS KO mice were enzymatically dissociated and single cells were loaded on a 10× Chromium instrument. The libraries were sequenced using an Illumina HiSeq4000. Each genotype was performed in two independent replicates.
