RNA-seq of Mangifera indica (Amrapali) and (Totapari) : Fruit pulp 2. Studies of high B carotene and low B carotene to identify regulatory elements responsible for high B carotene in Amrapali.

To recognize carotenoid specific genes through vast scale transcriptome profiling of pulp of mango varieties (Amrapali) and (Totapari) to identify regulatory elements of high B carotene in Amrapali. This study will be first ever attempt of large scale carotenoid expression profiling in mango to understand stage-wise transcriptome.
