This project aimed to investigate mechanisms of estrus cycle disorder induced by heat exposure and affect reproductive function in female rats, and provide new ideas for further research and possible intervention measures. In this experiment, we used female Sprague-Dawley rats with normal estrous cycle, exposed to 38 degree, Relative humidity of 50-60% (2 hour per day) hot cabin at more than 90 days, established a stable effective model for estrous cycle disorder induced by long-term heat stress. This model was used to study the composition and function of microbes on vaginal secretions of rats with estrous cycle disorder and describe the characteristics of serum metabolomics and their relationship with vaginal microorganisms.
