资源简介:
Section 3 of the Civil Service Act set out the divisions and classes to which all members of the Civil Service at the time of the commencement of the Act were to be assigned. Section 16 required that the Board publish, within ninety days of its appointment and annually thereafter, a list of the classifications so made. Section 17 provided that "Any officer dissatisfied with the position assigned to him in the classification may forward to the Board within thirty days of such application on appeal setting forth the grounds of this dissatisfaction". These letters are appeals made in pursuance of section 17. The classification provisions of the Act were repealed by the Civil Service Act Amendment Act, 1886, s.2, the repeal taking effect from 1 January 1887. (7/64-67). 4 boxes.
