Lactiplantibacillus argentoratensis GK10, originated from the traditional Chinese kimchi, is a unique lactic acid bacterium, which has attracted much attention for its excellent rapid fermentation and high efficiency in acid production. In the bacterial genome, GK10 has one chromosome and five circular plasmids, which together shape its unique biological characteristics and metabolic functions.
