Data Set Qualitative Integrating Betawi Ondel-Ondel in Digital Game-Based Character Education To Cultivate Community Values: An Elementary School Case Study at SD Tarakanita 3 Jakarta

This dataset contains research instruments and qualitative data for a study entitled "Digital Game-Based Character Learning through Betawi Ondel-Ondel to Foster Community Values in Elementary School Students." The study explores the use of a culturally responsive digital game based on the philosophy of Betawi Ondel-Ondel to support the development of character education and community values among elementary school students. This dataset is organized into files and includes: Interview Protocol: A semi-structured interview guide developed to explore students' understanding of character values, community values, learning media preferences, game-based learning experiences, and perceptions of the Ondel-Ondel digital game. Student Interview Data: Qualitative responses collected from elementary school students regarding honesty, responsibility, cooperation, empathy, classroom experiences, learning media preferences, and reflections on the Ondel-Ondel game. Community Values and Character Education Findings: Categorized qualitative findings related to cooperation, helping behavior, responsibility, honesty, respect for others, teamwork, and students’ understanding of the cultural philosophy represented by Ondel-Ondel as a symbol of togetherness. Cultural Learning Materials: Supporting learning content introducing students to the cultural meaning and philosophy of Betawi Ondel-Ondel and its connection to community values within everyday social interactions. Note: To ensure compliance with ethical research standards and data privacy regulations, all participant information has been fully anonymized. Student names, personal identifiers, school-specific identifiers, and any other potentially identifiable information have been removed or replaced prior to publication.
