PROGRESS, Progression of Diabetic Retinopathy. Identification of Signs and
Surrogate outcomes (https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT03010397) is a clinical study conducted between 2016 and 2019. This study consisted of both a retrospective and prospective phases to follow up the enrolled subjects for five years. The objective of the study was to characterize both functionality and morphology of the initiated stages of diabetic retinopathy, and to identify subjects at risk of progressing to center-involved macular edema and proliferative diabetic retinopathy. This Dataset consists of demographic and diagnostic data of the participants selected for analysis in open readable tabular text file format, and of imaging data of Spectral Optical Coherence Tomography (SD-OCT) data and Colour Fundus Photography (CFP). All imaging data is provided using the open standard for medical imaging DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine).
