资源简介:
This layer group describes multibeam echosounder data collected on RV Investigator voyage IN2015_E05 titled "Trial voyage – geoscience". The voyage took place between May 1 and May 5, 2015, departing from Hobart (TAS) and arriving in Hobart (TAS).\n\nThe purpose of the voyage was to introduce key stakeholders and science teams to the RV Investigator ship, Marine National Facility (MNF) and ASP Ship management operations.\n\nThe Geophysical Survey and Mapping (GSM) group provided support in acquiring multibeam data and sub-bottom profile data to determine sites and also increase national multibeam data coverage.\n\nThis dataset is published with the permission of CSIRO. Not to be used for navigational purposes.\n\nThe dataset contains bathymetry grids of 10m to 210m resolution of the Freycinet Marine Park Bathymetry, produced from the processed EM122 and EM710 bathymetry data.\nLineage: Data processing for the EM122 and EM710 data was performed using CARIS 8.1.8. Data from both systems were imported into a single CARIS project using different vessel files, Investigator_EM122 and Investigator_EM710. A zero tide file was applied to the data before merging. The data was investigated for outliers.\n\nThe EM122 data has been sub-edited and ascii, GSF and geotiff products produced. The EM710 data has been swath edited and requires sub-editing after tide information is loaded. Due to the shallow nature of the inshore site and the duration of this survey over several tides, tide corrections will need to be applied from AusTides or from the data from the Triabunna tidal station.\n\nThe data was then gridded at multiple resolutions in python Caris batch script using a Depth filter Vs Resolution guideline derived from AusSeabed Multibeam guidelines v2 and further inspected for outliers. Final raster products are available in L3 folder of this collection. Final processed data were also exported per line as GSF and ASCII format and available in the L2 folder of this collection.\n
