Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Hill Farm, Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire, 2021

This collection consists of images, and CAD vector drawings from an archaeological evaluation at Hill Farm, Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire. Works were conducted by Albion Archaeology between June and July 2021. Four Areas of Archaeological Significance (AAS) were defined showing evidence of: Iron Age/Roman settlements; multi-period, peripheral activity, characterised by dispersed ditches and pits; and medieval remains possibly associated with a precursor to the post-medieval Hill Farm. The Iron Age and Roman remains have potential to address several research themes related to rural settlement in those periods. The medieval and later features have no potential to address regional research themes.
