资源简介:
This dataset is derived from a randomized controlled trial (RCT) investigating the effect of Incentive Spirometry Training (IST) on pulmonary function and quality of life (QoL) in individuals with cervical spinal cord injury (SCI). The study was conducted at the Spinal Cord Injury Unit of the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP), Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The dataset includes pre- and post-intervention measurements of respiratory outcomes (such as FVC, FEV1, PEFR, and MVV), self-reported dyspnea scores, and health-related quality of life assessments using the SF-36. Participants were randomly assigned to either the intervention group (receiving incentive spirometry training in addition to standard rehabilitation) or the control group (receiving standard rehabilitation only).
