Intestinal microbiome associated with immune-related adverse events for patients treated with anti-PD-L1 inhibitors

We prospectively obtained baseline fecal samples and clinical data from patients who treated with anti-PD-1 inhibitors as monotherapy or in combination with chemotherapy or anti-angiogenesis regardless of treatment lines. The 16S rRNA V3-V4 sequencing was used to test the gene amplicons of fecal samples. Meanwhile, bacteria diversity and differential abundance analysis were performed to research gut microbiota diversity between groups. The development of irAEs was evaluated and monitored from therapy start based on CTCAE V5.0. We performed 16S rRNA gene sequencing on the gut microbiota samples.
