Linear model coefficients for the intercept, and effects of weighted relative species abundance and total poultry stock numbers on probability of HPAI cases in premises. ‘Wild Bird cases’ refers to a count of HPAI positive cases in wild birds within the relevant period rather than weighted relative species abundance. Richness, Simpson’s, and Shannon’s refer to alpha species diversity metrics. Model coefficients were derived from independent spatial GAM models run for each species and epidemic period (EP1 = 19th October 2021 – 9th February 2022; EP2 = 10th February 2022 – 16th August 2022; EP3 = 17th August 2022 – 20th January 2023). Species codes are those used by eBird.
