Multiscale Modeling and Simulation on Skin Platform and Its Applications

This thesis presents the development of a multiscale skin platform that provides a systematic and extensible framework for the study and treatment of skin problems. By integrating computational models across different spatial and temporal scales, the platform supports comprehensive analysis of skin functions and interactions with external factors. Key applications include modeling barrier protection, screening natural compounds, analyzing molecular interactions, simulating drug delivery, and predicting wound healing. Additionally, the platform aids in evaluating the mechanical and interfacial properties of biomimetic composite materials.
