NRS-20353 | Plan Minute Papers [Land and Property Information]

This series consists of minute papers relating to the lodgement and processing of plans. They document the minutes, actions and procedures which have been undertaken during the processing of plans and land-affected dealings within the Land Titling Systems of New South Wales.The main plan types include: Deposited Plans (DP), Strata Plans (SP), Community Plans (CP).The minute papers note the actions and steps that have occurred during the processing of plans and include lodgement forms, minute papers and correspondence relating to the registration of the plan and often include working copies of the plan.  Historically plans within the papers have been removed, microfilmed or imaged, then stored separately.The series commences from the time the Torrens title system was introduced on 1 January 1863 with the commencement of the Real Property Act 1862 (Act No. 19a, 1862). Since then all land granted by the Crown is subject to the provisions of that Act (1).Plan Minute Papers are arranged in packets and ordered by plan number.
