Identification of a membrane associated smORF in the oral microbiome: DNA, RNA, and protein level evidence of the obline like orf104 in Streptococcus sanguinis (DRAFT)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the multi-tool integrated characterization of ORF104, a 50 aa chromosomal small open reading frame (smORF) identified in the Streptococcus sanguinis reference genome (NZ_LS483385.1). Key Evidence Highlights: Transcriptomic Validation: Identification of 53 significant reads in the NCBI SRA (Experiment: SRX27707611) with 89-100% identity and E-value 0.34, confirming active transcription in oral host-microbe co-culture conditions (HGE cells + S. sanguinis). Structural Modeling: AlphaFold 3 high-confidence prediction (pLDDT >90) of an amphipathic alpha-helical fold, revealing convergent structural evolution with viroid-encoded Oblin proteins despite low primary sequence identity (13.0%). Functional Annotation: Identification of recurring VanZ-family structural motifs and predicted bitopic transmembrane topology (TMHMM 2.0).
