In-situ H-sorption in TiFe-based alloys
收藏资源简介:
The goal of this proposal is to investigate the structural transformations related to hydrogen absorption and desorption reactions in TiFe-based alloys by performing in situ Powder X-ray Diffraction (PXRD) under hydrogen atmosphere during heating and cooling. By directly observing phase transformations and structural evolution in real-time, we seek to correlate the multiple thermal events detected in High Pressure Differential Scanning Calorimetry (HPDSC) with the number of plateaus observed during Pressure-Composition-Isotherm (PCI) measurements in PCI curves. The insights gained from this study will not only advance our fundamental understanding of the hydrogenation mechanisms in TiFe-based alloys but also will provide guidelines for tailoring their composition and processing to optimize their performance for sustainable hydrogen storage applications.
