We have asked whether astrocyte-derived SFRP1 is part of the microglia-astrocyte crosstalk underlying neuroinflammation. Microglial cells from CX3CR1+/GFP and CX3CR1+/GFP;Sfrp1-/- male littermates intracerebroventricularly infused with LPS or saline were sorted 3 days after challenge. Bulk RNA was extracted and processed to obtain a RiboZero Stranded Gold Library (Illumina) and sequenced in HiSeq 4000 sequencer (Illumina). Total reads are provided.
