Castor Crop Advisory & Field Observation Dataset 2004

This dataset is derived from the eSagu™ ICT-based agricultural advisory system and focuses exclusively on the castor crop. It contains 797 real field images along with corresponding crop observations and expert-generated advisories collected periodically from early growth stages to crop maturity. Data was captured by trained coordinators and analyzed remotely by agricultural experts using images and textual observations, without physical field visits. The dataset reflects real farm conditions, multilingual advisory text, observational noise, and temporal variation, making it suitable for research in data preprocessing, cleaning, normalization, and preparation of agricultural datasets for machine learning and analytics.
