The web service Soil Erosion Hazard provides an overview of the spatial distribution of the potential soil erosion hazard as well as the soil erosion by wind and water on the agricultural land of Brandenburg. The service includes five layers. In the layer "endangerment stages wind erosion", the agricultural areas are in a spatial resolution of 2x2 meters according to their potential wind erosion risk in accordance with the calculation rule DIN19706 (https://dx.doi.org/10.31030/1934215) and Funk et al. 2023 (https://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.aeolia.2023.100878). In the layer "soil erosion (t/ha/a) water erosion (RxKxS)" the potential soil erosion by water is derived from the erosion factors R, K and S according to DIN19708 (https://dx.doi.org/10.31030/2676773) in a spatial resolution of 5x5 meters. In the layer "soil removal (t/ha/a) water erosion (RxKxSxL)" the potential soil removal by water is derived from the erosion factors R, K, S and L according to DIN19708 (https://dx.doi.org/10.31030/2676773) in a spatial resolution of 5x5 meters. In the layers "Danger levels water erosion (RxKxS)" and "Danger levels water erosion (RxKxSxL)" a classification of the potential water erosion risk of agricultural land according to DIN19708 is shown in a spatial resolution of 5x5 meters. The potential risk of erosion corresponds to the risk to the land due to natural conditions, i.e. without taking into account agricultural management measures such as tillage, land cover and crop rotation.
