Lactobacillus plantata regulates intestinal immune function and intestinal homeostasis to protect against influenza viruses

In this study, we tested the effective protective effect of Lactobacillus plantarum 0111 against influenza virus in a mouse model.In addition, the regulatory effects of oral administration of Lactobacillus plantarum 0111 on intestinal mucosal immune system and intestinal microflora were analyzed.The results showed that Lactobacillus plantarum 0111 significantly increased the production of antibody and the expression of co-stimulatory molecules CD80 and CD86 on dendritic cells surface, as well as the expression of IFN-Y and IL-4.At the same time, Lactobacillus plantarum 0111 reduced the imbalance of intestinal flora caused by influenza viruses.
