2378. Size 73/4 in. by 53/4 in.; foll. 272. Thirteen lines in a page.

The Maḳâmât of Abu Muḥammad al-Ḳâsim b. ‘Alî ḤARÎRÎ (d. A.H. 516).

Well written in a large hand, with vowel-points.

Dated end of Rajab, 991. The copy was made by Rabî’ b. Sulaimân b. ‘Alî Barâshî, for Majd al-dîn Ḳabânî Yamanî.

This MS. came, A.H. 1112, into the possession of Muḥammad Chelebi.. , commonly called Tiryâḳî, of Bûlâḳ, who collated it with three other copies. One of these had been collated with the archetype, A.H. 654.

This latter collation is noticed at the end of each Maḳâmah. Some explanations were transcribed from the same copy. Tiryâḳî finished his collation at the end of Ṣafar, 1118. He also added the epilogue of Ḥarîrî, 1 and his الرسالة السينية . 2

A notice of the author is written on the fly-leaf.
