This result is expected to identify several lncRNAs and mRNAs that are dysregulated in the lung due to obesity, as well as obesity-associated lncRNAs and mRNAs that are further altered in acute lung injury, as biomarkers specific to obesity-associated acute lung injury. To provide useful information for elucidating the development of acute lung injury exacerbated by obesity and exploring potential therapeutic targets Normal weight mice and obese mice were obtained by feeding a standard diet and a high fat diet of 60%fat for 12 weeks. Then, lipopolysaccharide induced acute lung injury in the obese group of mice. Lung tissue samples were taken from three groups of mice, three from each group. The expression of lncRNA and mRNA was compared between groups in an attempt to reveal the association of lncRNA with inflammatory aggravation of obesity-related acute lung injury.
