Launched by Noé Conservation and the National Museum of Natural History, this program is part of the Vigie Nature program and has three components.
The first, established in 2006, is dedicated to butterflies. The second and third components, created in 2009 are dedicated to snails and bumblebees. A monitoring of beetles was also conducted from 2009 to 2011.
The OBJ is run by the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle,Noé Conservation (for butterflies and snails) and Asterella (for bumblebees)
