To test the applicability of the adaptive sampling for viral infection, HAdV and SARS-CoV-2 clinical samples were prepared with the Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) SQK-LSK109 kit and SQK-RPB004 kit and were sequenced by GridION. MinKNOW was supplied with a reference file containing the genome of the targeted species. In each run, pores 1 to 256 were chosen to enrich and pores 257 to 512 were chosen for controls.
