The Ocean Serial data in this accession was collected as part of Global Ocean Data Archeaology and Rescue (GODAR) project from ships GAVESHINI, SAGAR KANYA, and NAND RACHIT. The data was collected between August 27, 1976 and December 6, 1988. Oceanographic Station Data contain physical and chemical oceanographic data recorded at discrete depth levels. The data from 675 stations containing 10,041 records was submitted to NODC by Dr. R. M. S. Bhargava, National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, India on a diskette.
