资源简介:
Data and code to replicate the analyses in the paper "Ageing and environment affect female more than male color in a mutually ornamented bird". Gomes et al. (2024, Behavioral Ecology).
This is composed by one R script file with code to replicate all analyses present in the published paper, and three datasets with individuals data needed to run analyses.
Specifically, it contains:
- 'R script for analyses.R': the complete R scripts needed to replicate all statistical analyses present in the paper. This script contains code to import all data, so no further action, besides running this script, is needed to replicate analyses.
- 'colour_data.txt': dataset containing all individuals information and colour measurements across time points for birds captured from the wild in the mesocosm. This dataframe contains the bird ID, sex, their year of capture, and year of death.
- 'colour_cages_data_breast.txt': dataset containing all individuals information and breast colour measurements across time points for birds maintained in cages. This dataframe contains the bird ID, sex, and the date each measurement was taken.
- 'colour_cages_data_bill.txt': dataset containing all individuals information and bill colour measurements across time points for birds maintained in cages. This dataframe contains the bird ID, sex, and the date each measurement was taken.
