Early-life exercise promotes health aging in mice (PRJCA020020)

In this study, we investigated whether early-life exercise affects lifespan and health span in C57BL/6J mice and its benefits to multiple organs during aging. Mice in exercise group started swimming at 1 month of age and stopped at 4 month of age (90 minutes per day and 5 days per week). No exercise intervention was conducted in other time. Metabolomics were performed at the age of 4 months,20 months and 24 months to obtain insight into mechanisms that how early-life exercise affects aged mice.
