Spiny Dogfish Mercury

This dataset describes the total mercury concentrations of 101 spiny dogfish sampled from 2018 commercial fishery landings in Chatham, Massachusetts. Each row of data includes a FishID, a wet sample mass (grams of tissue excised from the dorsal axial musculature), a dry sample mass (grams), the percentage of the mass that was dry, the total mercury ppm in the dry sample, the back calculated ppm total mercury in the wet sample, fish sex (determined by presence/absence of claspers), fish length (mm), fish weight (g), and the date the fish was harvested and processed (collection date).
