Global air-sea turbulent heat fluxes (sensible heat flux and latent heat flux) dataset from 1993 to 2017

This dataset provides global estimates of air-sea turbulent heat fluxes derived using the Bowen ratio-constrained Neural Network technique. The validation against the observations collected from 197 globally distributed buoys showed that the dataset achieved root mean square errors of 6.05 W/m², 23.67 W/m² and 0.22 and correlation coefficients of 0.93, 0.91 and 0.25 for the sensible heat flux, latent heat flux and Bowen ratio, respectively. The dataset contains the global 0.25° daily air-sea sensible heat flux and latent heat flux from 1993 to 2017.
