Flare Peak Times for 38 Eccentric Eclipsing Binaries Observed by TESS

This dataset presents a sample of 38 eclipsing binary systems observed by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), selected based on two distinctive features in their light curves: (i) evidence of orbital eccentricity, identified through displacement of the secondary eclipse from the midpoint between successive primary eclipses, and (ii) the presence of flare activity. For each system in the sample, we determined the peak times of detected flare events based on publicly available TESS photometric data. The table includes two columns: TIC ID (TESS Input Catalog identifier) Flare Peak Time (expressed as BJD − 2457000) These data can be used for further analysis of magnetic activity and orbital dynamics in close binary stars.
