Translation, Cross-Cultural Adaptation and Measurement Properties of Three Implementation Measures FIM-AIM-IAM into Bangla

This paper is important as it directly addresses a fundamental barrier to equitable global health implementation science: the lack of validated, culturally adapted measurement tools. By rigorously translating and validating the widely used AIM, IAM, and FIM scales into Bangla for the first time, the study provides an essential, psychometrically sound instrument for researchers and practitioners in Bangladesh and similar contexts. This enables the precise measurement of key implementation outcomes—acceptability, appropriateness, and feasibility—among pregnant women, a key population for maternal health interventions. This allows stakeholders to reliably assess and refine programs, ensuring interventions are not only effective but also well-suited and sustainable within the local context, directly improving health outcomes.
