[Survey data and questions] The state of null results white paper: Insights from 11,000 researchers on negative or inconclusive results

To better understand researchers' perceptions and attitudes to null results, their behaviours and experiences in sharing them, and the challenges they face in publishing them, Springer Nature surveyed 11,069 researchers in 2024. By exploring these topics, we aim to share evidence-based recommendations that can help us, as an academic community, better address and support the value of null results.This is the full survey questions and data from that analysis. Some information has been redacted to maintain anonymity of respondents.The survey data was used to inform the 2025 white paper, <i>The state of null results white paper: Insights from 11,000 researchers on negative or inconclusive results</i>.
