Aedes aegypti maxillary palp olfactome pre- and 24 h post-blood meal

In this study, the chemosensory genes that are modulated in the maxillary palps of non-blood fed and 24 h post-blood meal female Ae. aegypti of the same age, six days-post-emergence (dpe), are identified as genes-of-interest for further functional investigation. We identify potential candidate genes important for generating the behavioural switch between host seeking and resting through their differential abundance in the maxillary palps.
